About us
BSEC Design was incorporated in 1997 by the amalgamation of NRM Partnership (originally founded in 1990) & BSEC Ltd. The company has been based in Tring, Hertfordshire since 1997, which makes BSEC Design ideally located not just for work in the South East and London but also nationally.
As a small sized engineering practice, BSEC Design has a simple management structure which allows BSEC Design to remain flexible and to easily adapt to a fast-changing industry.
The current company Directors are Richard Jackson (Electrical) and James Turton (Mechanical & PH), and they are supported by a number of design engineers, CAD technicians and administrative support staff.
Professional Memberships
BSEC Design are corporate members of the Association of Consulting Engineers (ACE), along with the CQMS Safety Scheme, and the Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) organisation - which is part of the CHAS health and safety assessment scheme.
Insurances
BSEC Design carry full Professional Indemnity insurance and Employers & Public Liability insurance. Copies of these can be provided to Clients upon request.
Customer Care and Focus
Each and every project, irrespective of size or value, will be assigned at least one project Director to oversee the works to ensure that the company standards and Client interface is maintained at all times. A key ethos of BSEC Design is good lines of communication with our Clients and the other members of the professional team.
Energy Efficiency & Waste Management
As part of BSEC Designs push to be as energy efficient and carbon neutral as practicable, the company only uses recycled paper, and operates an internal recycling programme and waste management strategy to ensure that any landfill waste is minimised. BSEC Design participates in manufacturer approved printer & plotter ink cartridge recycling programmes wherever possible.
Software Packages
BSEC Design operate using the latest AutoCAD design software, Microsoft Office suites, and Bentley HevaCOMP calculation packages.
Staff are actively encouraged to use alternative and low carbon forms of transport, either for the commute into the office or when travelling around the country on company business.
